Rebecca serves as the COB and CEO of Neutral Posture, Inc. and has over twenty-seven years of experience in research,  development, design, and the manufacturing of ergonomic seating with expertise in the areas of finance, strategic planning, HR, operations, growth, and diversity. Rebecca has grown Neutral Posture to an international company with numerous award-winning patented products.   

Together Rebecca and her mother led Neutral Posture, Inc. from a start-up company to becoming a publicly held company in nine years.  In 1997, Neutral Posture, Inc. completed an initial public offering becoming the first and only certified women-owned business to be traded on the NASDAQ. This was followed in 2001 by a family buyout of public shareholders to make Neutral Posture a privately held company again.  As a certified Women's Business Enterprise seating and systems furniture manufacturer, Neutral Posture has rewritten the rules of quality, customer service and value with the most exceptional product offering in the furniture industry.  

In 2014, Rebecca oversaw the acquisition of the Equity® systems furniture line from Knoll, Inc. By adding Equity® into Neutral Posture’s product portfolio, Rebecca has moved the company forward in its goal of advancing its strategic interests and diversifying growth for the benefit of customers and business partners.

Rebecca serves as a director of the PureColor Board, director of the WebTuner Board, member of the Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturer’s Association (BIFMA) Board, director of the Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) Board, advisory board member of the Belizean Grove and a past director of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas Board. She is a member of the Committee of 200 (C200), served on the C200 Foundation Board, served as the first woman President of BIFMA, is a past member of the Board of Directors for the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), is a National Founding Partner of WIPP and served on the Board of Directors of the Institute for the Economic Empowerment of Women. In 2006, Rebecca was appointed by Hector Barreto to serve on the National Women’s Business Council, which serves as advisors to the President, Congress and U.S. SBA. She has served on the Enterprising Women Advisory Board, Texas Buildings & Procurement Commission Vendor Advisory Council and through 2006, served on the Texas Governor’s Business Council and U.S. SBA National Advisory Council.
