Eartha Jean Johnson, Esq, is CEO of Risk Mitigation Worldwide, an award-winning Corporate Liability Consulting, Training and Professional Staffing Solutions Company, which she formed in 1997 after practicing law for Exxon and working for the United States Department of Justice, AT&T and Kutak Rock, an international law firm.  She uses the knowledge and expertise she acquired practicing law to teach executives how to protect themselves from liability and avoid mistakes that often result in regulatory sanctions, huge jury awards, criminal indictments and negative media.   In addition to her Juris Doctorate Degree, she holds a Master of Laws Degree in Energy, Environmental and Natural Resource Law, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice.  Eartha is certified in Training and Development, is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a EEO certified Investigator.  Eartha has earned numerous awards for the company’s Corporate Liability training.

Eartha is the Immediate Past President of Texas Executive Women, Board Member of the Greater Houston Black Chamber of Commerce, President of NPursuit of Justice, member of the Women Business Enterprise Alliance of Texas and Houston Minority Business Council, and serves on the Forum of the Women's Business Enterprise National Council and is a Community Organizer.   She is also a Past President of the Houston Lawyers Association, Past Chair of the African American Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, and has served on the boards of WIPP ("Women Impacting Public Policy"), NISH ("National Institute for the Severely Disabled"),  Chair of the Women's Lawyers Division of the National Bar Association, and served on the National Women's Business Council, a bi-partisan Federal government council that advises the President, Congress and the U.S. Small Business Administration on economic issues important to women.
